Bariatric Equipment
Aidacare’s bariatric equipment range includes wider seat widths, increased weight capacities,
and reinforced materials to meet the specific needs of the bariatric users.
The classification of overweight and obese adults over 18 years, according to BMI (body mass
index) is shown in the table below. To calculate BMI, divide a person’s weight by their height
squared (BMI = weight (kg) ÷ height (m) x height (m)).
