Featuring easy to operate lateral air cells to assist
with patient turning, the Active Air® 8 Acute
provides the highest levels of care into acute and
long term care environments
• TurnAssist valves located on the side of the
mattress engage integrated lateral air cells to tilt
the mattress surface by an angle of up to 30°. This
improves bed washing, changing of linen and
clothing, positioning of manual handling slings/
sheets and targeted relief of asymmetric/laterally
located pressure areas. Drastically improves WHS
outcomes for care workers by minimising
manual handling
• Auto Detect: Based on the user’s detected
